*Cruachan Valentine

New: Click here for progeny report (.pdf)
As Valentine nears retirement he has proven himself a very consistent producer of solid breeding stock and performance ponies, both purebred and crossbreds. He is very much a moorland type stallion with a serious work ethic that he readily passes to his offspring.  Now that the numbers are reduced here at SingleTree, I have time to drive Mr. V more often, and he, too, loves getting out and around the neighborhood.  I still plan to geld him at age 20 (fall of 2007), so that he can always have a companion in the field. Having just the one stallion will also make life easier for everyone here at SingleTree.  There are many exceptional Valentine daughters out there and a couple of worthy young colts, so Mr. V has done his job and we are all taking life easier here in North Carolina. My many thanks go to Pat Campbell in the UK for sending Cruachan Valentine home with me almost 20 years ago, he has been a grand fellow, and a great friend.

Valentine's stud fee is $400
Valentine will be retiring at the end of the 2007 season. We are no longer shipping semen, but there is some frozen semen available at the University of Georgia.  Proceeds for that goes to the GA 4-H.
